The 37th Irish International Treffen will take place from 15th to 18th August 2024 at Gowran Park Raceway in Co. Kilkenny. This year we are celebrating 40 years of the GoldWing Owners Club of Ireland. We look forward to welcoming fellow wingers from near and far for what promises to be a fun-filled weekend!
Hello everyone. Just to give an update on the Irish Treffen preparations.
As usual Thursday is the official start of the Treffen.
Gowran Park Racecourse will have a horse race on Wednesday afternoon and evening so there will be limited access to the Treffen site on Wednesday.
For wingers arriving on Wednesday who will be camping:
If you arrive by 12:00 noon you will be able to enter the Treffen site with your Goldwing and put up your tent in the designated area. You will not be able to take your bike off the site between 1:00 pm and 8:30 pm. If you leave the site with your bike before 1:00 pm you will not be able to re-enter with your bike until 8:30 pm. Walking into/out of the site is ok.
If you arrive after 12:00 noon you will park outside the site in a designated area and can enter the site on foot. You can enjoy the restaurant and bar, and watch the horse racing. You can then bring your bike into the site after 8:30 pm to put your tent up.
Reminder for anyone planning to come with a motorhome or caravan, you need to pre-book by email (gwoci.ir@gmail.com) so we can plan the best layout for you in advance.
