We are deeply saddened and regret to announce the death of long-standing club member and dear friend, John Roche of Kilmurry, Slieverue, Kilkenny. John passed away peacefully on Thursday 11th April 2019 at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. We extend our deepest sympathies to John’s loving wife, Kathleen, and their family.
John will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank, Co. Waterford on Saturday 13th April from 2:30pm until 5:00pm. Removal on Sunday 14th April from John's home to the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny arriving for Requiem Mass at 1:15pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
GWOCI members will be providing a guard of honour at John’s funeral on Sunday (14th April). Meeting at 12:00pm outside the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue.
John is remembered with great fondness as a true gentleman who always had a smile on his face. He will be sadly missed by his many friends in the Goldwing Owners Club of Ireland.

Please note that the Leinster ride out that had been scheduled to take place on Sunday (14th April) has been cancelled as a mark of respect.
